Really wanted to get my patio area sorted before summer started, but didn't manage it in time. Too much else going on. Never mind though, we're only a month into summer, still got two more to enjoy sitting out in the garden. Anyway, the area's all sorted, just need to find some good furniture now. Which shops in the UK are worth a look?

Garden furniture's one of those things where you don't realise how much choice there is until you actually start looking. Rattan's had a bit of a comeback lately, holds up well outdoors and doesn't need much upkeep. Worth measuring your space properly first too, easy to end up with a set that's either too cramped or leaves half the patio empty.

Course it's worth being outside more when you get the chance. We're stuck indoors enough as it is with our weather. At least summer means more sunny days.
